AMSTERDAM WINNER SHOW
and a Historical Weekend for Sussex Spaniels .
Going by bus with the Finnish Sussex breeders to Hotel Hoogland in Zandvoort south of Amsterdam ,
to meet Sussex owners & breeders from all over Europe was a historical and very moving event .
I was asked if I could do a Working - Demo in the main ring of the show
- wow , how I was scared , but Buster did it !!!
Only raising a laugh when he did one of the retrieving via a pretty girl in season ........

He took BEST JUNIOR and a very special roset given by Sussex Spaniel Society in UK for this unique gathering .

In the weekend 28 - 29 Nov. the biggest
SUSSEX SPANIEL GET TOGETHER
outside UK will take place , with Sussex owners & friends
from UK , Finland , Denmark , Norway , France , Belgium & Holland .
I'm really looking forward to this at " our " hotel in Zandvoort
and at The Amsterdam Winner Show at Sunday ,
where the highest entry outside UK will come , 27 Sussex Spaniels are entered .

took off to England today , in a flight box .
I got tears in my eyes taking this photo , and I was very happy to get a phone call
in the evening that he was safe in Manchester .
I wish Rhett Good Luck and a lot of pleasure during his stay over the spring
with Christine and her lovely girls at Kennel Menstonia .

A wonderful feeling - it was not easy to find a way to get both legs down at earth again .
After a drive at nearly 7 h we arrived to the little house in the forest to stay for some days .
The dogs just loves to jump around and swim in the lake .
but June couldn't get enough - next morning she jumped into the bath to me !!!

trying to get more clever about dog - training

It was some very good days with good friends and kind people .

came by on their way home from Kennel Bournefield in Belgium ,
bringing their little new Sussex girl to Norway .
Also now in Norway there is more interest for this rare breed .

at Kennel Ackarby in Sweden , also visiting friends .
We now hope that this " Honeymoon " with QUARR Forest Heather , Shiela
will result in puppies in the end of March .
